Worked example: 12m run at 1.5m high
A 12m tired fence screened at the popular 1.5m height needs 12m of roll. Three 4m willow rolls come to about £87, while three 4m peeled reed rolls cover the same run for roughly £75 — the calculator shows both so you can see exactly what the sturdier willow weave costs you. Add a pack of wire ties (about £6) to fix it.
Heights run from 1.0m up to 2.0m in 20cm steps, and rolls are usually 4m long — with 2m and 3m rolls handy for short runs and finishing ends. Pick the height to match (or just exceed) whatever you are screening; the calculator prices the length mix for you.
