Railing panels are 1.83m wide and bolt to posts at 1.83m centres — we round up. Posts, brackets and fixings not included.

Worked example: a 12m boundary
A 12m run needs 7 panels (12 ÷ 1.83m, rounded up) and 8 posts — about £364 for the panels in Barbican style, with posts and bolt-down brackets added in the extras line. The calculator shows Imperial as an alternative if you want the fleur-de-lis finials.
Each panel sits between two posts, so a run of 7 panels needs 8 posts — one at each end plus one at every join. The calculator adds the end post automatically; corners and gates each need their own post too.
